When you create posts about rides, we may collect and store:
- photos you upload

- comments, likes, reports, and other in-app activity

c. Camera Access
Oranga requests access to your device camera so you can take photos when creating ride posts.
We only use camera access for this app feature.

d. Technical Information
We may collect limited technical information necessary to operate the app, such as:
- device type
- operating system
- app usage data
- crash or error information

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:
- create and manage your account
- let you post ride content
- store and display photos and posts
- operate the social features of the app
- improve app performance and reliability
- keep the platform safe and moderate content
- respond to support or legal requests when required

3. Photo Storage

Photos you upload to Oranga are stored so they can be shown in your posts and used within the app experience.
If you take a photo using the camera feature, that photo may be uploaded and stored as part of your ride post.

4. Account Data Storage

User account data is stored using Supabase.
This may include account records, profile information, and app-related content connected to your account.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information.
We may share information only when necessary to:
- provide app functionality through our service providers
- protect the security, rights, or integrity of the app
- comply with legal obligations

6. Third-Party Services

Oranga uses third-party services to operate the app, including:
- Supabase, for backend services and data storage

These providers may process data only as needed to provide their services.

7. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to operate the app, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies.
If you request deletion of your account, we may delete or anonymize your information, unless we are required to keep certain data for legal, security, or abuse-prevention reasons.

Depending on how you use the app, you may be able to:
- update your account information
- remove content you posted
- request account deletion
- stop using the camera by denying device permission in your phone settings

9. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information.
However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's Privacy

Oranga is not intended for children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If we learn that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.

If you use Oranga from outside the country where our services are operated, your information may be transferred to and processed in other countries where our service providers operate.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
If we make changes, we will update the effective date above.

Child Safety Standards

At Oranga, we have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sexual extortion, trafficking, or any behavior that exploits or endangers minors.

Our standards:
- Users may not create, upload, share, request, promote, or distribute content involving the sexual exploitation or abuse of minors.
- Users may not use the app to groom, exploit, harass, threaten, or endanger children.
- Any account involved in this type of behavior may be suspended or permanently removed.
- We may remove violating content without notice.
- We may report relevant activity to law enforcement or appropriate child safety organizations where required or appropriate.
